Be aware that some of the road names on new street signs near The Haft do not agree with those used in Google Maps or Map Quest. The following local directions are provided to guide you from two nearby communities. Please let us know if you need further help.

From DUSHORE (near the intersection of US 220 and PA 87)

Heading into Dushore on US 220 North, turn right at the traffic light onto PA 87 North and take an immediate left turn onto Railroad Street at the Whistle Stop restaurant. Railroad Street becomes Marsh Road. Go about 3 miles and turn right onto Shaffers Notch Road, a very obvious and clearly marked paved road. Continue on Shaffers Notch Road about 1.5 miles to The Haft entry sign and turn left into our driveway. Following the driveway across a small bridge, you will see The Barn directly ahead.

From WYALUSING (along US 6, about 40 miles west of Clarks Summit and 14 miles east of Towanda)
Heading west on US 6 from Clarks Summit, as you approach Wyalusing you will pass a GULF gas station on the right. Turn left at the traffic light onto Wyalusing-New Albany Road ( State Route 2007) . You will immediately pass Wyalusing Junior-Senior High School on your left and cross the Susquehanna River. About 4 miles after you turn off US 6 you will see a sign and road to the right pointing you to New Albany. DO NOT take this turn, but just past that sign you will take a slight right at a fork in the road onto Shaffers Notch Road. Continue on Shaffers Notch Road about 4.6 miles to The Haft entry sign and turn right onto HaftLane. Follow the driveway across a small bridge to The Barn.

From PHILADELPHIA

If you are coming from Philadelphia, the easiest route is to take I476 North (PA turnpike NE Extension) to its terminus in Clarks Summit. Immediately past the toll booth, get right and onto US 6 West and travel about 40 miles toward Wyalusing and Towanda. NOTE: Be sure to stay on US 6 when it diverges to the right from US 11 about 10 miles west of Clark Summit As you approach Wyalusing, follow the directions given above from Wyalusing to The Haft.
