The Haft is located in The Endless Mountains of rural southern Bradford County in north-central Pennsylvania,.  It is less than a one hour drive from the New York state border and regional airports and a 3-4 hour drive from Philadelphia and New York metropolitan areas.

The Barn is the main residential building and activity center for guests and visitors. Three other buildings – The Gatehouse, Shepherd’s Cottage, and Garden Cottage – provide residences for staff as well as additional guest space. The Haft also has various other buildings for maintenance and storage. The majority of the land is wooded and hilly terrain, accented by wet lands, meadows, and a 10 acre pond.

Haft Lane is the name of the driveway which turns off of Shaffers Notch Road and winds its way across a small bridge toward The Barn, where there is a parking lot for guest vehicles.
